Users may lose access to important systems or data due to an unexpected loss of network connection.

Risk Mitigation Policy

  1. Set up backup connections to ensure network availability if the primary connection fails. 
  2. Make sure automatically users failover is available.  
  3. Monitor network performance continuously and perform routine checks to detect and resolve issues early. 
  4. Train staff in emergency procedures and establish a clear response plan for network outages.

Risk Incident Response Procedures

  1. Identify the issue and do the best to find a proper temporary network connection during the downtime. 
  2. Fixing the disconnection and then test it. 
  3. Return to the primary connection.

By sending the final report explaining the problem causes and how we can mitigate next time.
